Teacher of English

Salary Range £23,720 to £39,406.
(Salary is dependent upon qualifications, skills and experience)

Required from September 2019: an enthusiastic teacher of English to join a dynamic and collaborative faculty with a history of outstanding results. This post will be suitable for either newly qualified or more experienced teachers and a TLR 2a may be available for suitable applicants.

The school is oversubscribed and enjoys a considerable reputation in the local area for its academic excellence and caring ethos. In December 2016, Ofsted described the way in which the school promotes students’ personal development and its work to support students as outstanding.

Ofsted also identified “a culture of academic excellence” which is consistently reflected in the school’s GCSE results.

There is a strong culture of teaching and learning in the school and staff value highly the continuing professional development and research opportunities available. Ofsted praised the “good opportunities for staff to develop professionally” and commented that “staff are highly positive about the training they receive.” In addition they reported that “newly qualified teachers speak effusively about the support they receive.”

Hourly Rate: £28 per hour, term time only

Required immediately, a talented and driven Teacher of Strings who is capable of working on a one to one basis with students to develop their performance ability and instrument techniques. There is a possibility of small-group teaching at Primary school level. The candidate would be expected to work with the Director of Music to recruit and build the number of string players across the Trust.

The Weatheralls Primary School is looking to appoint an enthusiastic and innovative Lead Practitioner to help deliver outstanding progress and achievement for its pupils.

You will be an outstanding class teacher with a record of strong pupil outcomes who wants to model and share excellent teaching practices across the school.
